Galgon's Quality Policy

Galgon's "CUSTOMER FIRST" commitment is built on a foundation of providing the highest levels of QUALITY and SERVICE available. In implementation of our policy, every person in the company has the responsibility of managing Quality.

The Key Quality Initiatives include:

• Quality is the Responsibility of the total corporation, not just the Quality Assurance Department.
• Measures of Quality must be visible, simple and understandable.
• The cost of conformance is always less than the cost of non-conformance because the cost of Doing It Right the First Time is always less than the cost of Doing It Over.

Customer Satisfaction

From its inception, "Quality" has been the key to the success and strength of Galgon Industries organization. Being a world class manufacturing organization means having quality deeply rooted into the operating structure, not just within the processes but part of the mind set of everyone who works at Galgon. Over the last couple of years the primary focus of the customers in our industry has been to drive cost down, maintain perfect delivery scores, and deliver quality products, with the priorities in that order. During these last couple of years not only has Galgon remained price competitive with an outstanding delivery record but we have kept quality as our number one priority. This is accomplished with the aid of Oracle reports that track on-time deliveries, overall quality performance & finished goods shipped.

Continuous Improvement / Cost Reduction Programs

Galgon continues to develop and improve our customer's projects/programs by having a strong continuous improvement program, with the goal to remain as one of the leaders in the use of new technology. At Galgon we believe in constantly reviewing existing programs with the belief that there are always ways to improve the product and drive down costs. Being driven by the customer to improve processes and reduce costs is a thing of the past. At Galgon we strive to provide timely cost reductions without being prompted, which can only be done by staying in touch with the current machine and process developments in our industry.

ISO Certification

Galgon received ISO 9001certification in February of 1998 which has since been upgraded to ISO 9001:2000. This verifies that Galgon is an “Engineering-focused contract manufacturer of sheetmetal parts, value add assemblies, and complete products with extensive design and engineering capabilities to achieve custom-made products and stamping dies, from concept to production.” Galgon continues to maintain its certification and believes that ISO certification is a necessary part of maintaining our world class manufacturing status.

Supplier Performance

Galgon prides itself on having World Class Suppliers. Our ASL (Approved Suppliers List) includes hundreds of top notch suppliers that are available to meet your needs. Each of our suppliers is continually monitored through both our Incoming Receiving Inspection & Process Inspection reports to ensure they meet the highest quality standards in our industry. Galgon strives to maintain strict performance standards for all of our suppliers and this is monitored by the aid of Oracle driven Customer Performance Analysis reports.
